We weren t very diligent about wiping up overspray the second time we treated the canvas and it discolored our vinyl in a few spots. Vinyl material gives good waterproofing to the pop up camper. Pop up campers have fabrics that could be vinyl or canvas cotton or it could be both vinyl plus canvas. Rinse well and let it dry.

Work from the top of the camper down applying an even coat of waterproofing with the paint brush. Most new models come with vinyl that is very much waterproof. Wash the pop up camper with a mild soap and soft brush. Typically the center of a pop up camper is a fiberglass roof which is also permanently waterproof.

Vinyl sided tent campers are naturally waterproof as vinyl is a waterproof material. The pop up camper canvas in newer models is not pure canvas but its mostly combination of canvas cotton and vinyl. Unlike tents tent campers are raised off of the ground so there is no fear that the tent camper could take on water from the floor. Pour waterproofing into a 1 gallon bucket.

After this now rinse it well and let it dry completely. It s a good idea to spot check the canvas s waterproofing. You could use some home solutions to clean up the camper but after first testing if they are suitable for use. Good examples could be vinegar or tea tree oil.

I had previously removed mold inside the trailer by clea. It is an effective way of how to clean up a popup camper canvas. Do notget the fabric guard on the vinyl as it will damage it.
